Power schedule function not working,

If the Power Schedule function is not working on your WD My Cloud device, try these troubleshooting steps:

Verify the Schedule Settings

Log in to the My Cloud Dashboard.

Go to Settings > Energy Saver > Power Schedule.

Make sure the schedule is enabled and the correct power on/off times are set.

Confirm the correct time zone is configured.

Check Date and Time

Ensure the NAS has the correct date and time.

If possible, enable automatic time synchronization (NTP).

Restart the Device

Restart the My Cloud from the Dashboard or power cycle it manually.

After rebooting, check whether the schedule works.

Update Firmware

Install the latest firmware available for your My Cloud model, as older firmware versions may have scheduling bugs.

Disable and Re-enable Power Schedule

Turn off the Power Schedule feature.

Save the settings.

Re-enable it and recreate the schedule.

Factory Restore (Settings Only)

If the issue persists, perform a System Only Restore (do not choose a full factory reset unless you have backups). Then configure the schedule again.

If it still doesn't work

Please provide:

Your My Cloud model (e.g., EX2 Ultra, PR4100, EX4100)

The firmware/OS version (OS 3 or OS 5)

Whether the device never powers off, never powers on, or ignores the schedule completely

With those details, I can provide more specific troubleshooting steps.
