I have 4 bay My Cloud Ex4100 and want two difetents raid 01

๐Ÿšจ Important Notes Before You Start

Backup First: Changing RAID will erase all data on the disks. Be sure to back up anything important.

Drive Pairs: Youโ€™ll need 4 drives total, paired as:

Drives 1 & 2 โ†’ RAID 1 Array A

Drives 3 & 4 โ†’ RAID 1 Array B

โš™๏ธ Steps to Configure Two RAID 1 Arrays on EX4100

Log in to Dashboard

Open a browser โ†’ enter your NAS IP โ†’ log in to the My Cloud OS 5 Dashboard.

Go to Storage โ†’ RAID

Select the option to Configure RAID.

Choose Manual Disk Configuration

Instead of selecting a single RAID type for all 4 drives, select JBOD / Individual Volumes or Multiple Volumes.

Create Two Volumes

Set Drives 1 & 2 as one RAID 1 volume.

Set Drives 3 & 4 as another RAID 1 volume.

Apply & Rebuild

The system will erase and rebuild each array. This can take hours depending on drive size.

When finished, youโ€™ll see two independent RAID 1 volumes available.

โœ… What You Get

Two separate RAID 1 arrays, showing as Volume_1 and Volume_2 in the dashboard.

Each RAID 1 gives you redundancy (mirror copy).

You can use one for, say, personal data and the other for media/backup, or however you like.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Do you want me to walk you through step-by-step with screenshots of the My Cloud EX4100 Dashboard menus (like which exact options to click), or do you just want the high-level process?
